Kamila's New York professional experience includes working on commercials for clients such as Mattel, K'nex, Dannon, assisting action unit director/stunt coordinator Vic Armstrong on I Am Legend, freelance work for AETV and Rainbow Media/Extreme Sports Channel, as well as assisting the program coordinator
at New York Women in Film and Television.
She has provided script coverage for Lee Daniel’s Entertainment, interned for the late David Brown at The Manhattan Project,
and also at the New York’s Mayor’s Office of Film, Theater and Broadcasting.
In 2005 she worked in Miramax’s Publicity and Acquisitions Department during the Cannes Film Festival.
She also has a myriad of translating and interpreting jobs under her belt. Her most recent translation, the E. Michael Helms’ novel The Proud Bastards, was published by Prague’s Nase Vojsko.
Kamila graduated cum laude from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production and a minor in Theater. Her qualifying film, Yogurt Cups, was shot on location in her native Czech Republic on 35 mm.
